Piedmont Claims Association History
On October 21, 1952, several insurance claims people in the Piedmont area of South Carolina met for the purpose of determining whether a claims association could and should be organized. It was apparent that a claims association should be formed. The association was originally called the Piedmont Claim Men's Association. The name was later changed to Piedmont Claims Association
The purpose of the Association was to promote better understanding, better cooperation, and a more friendly relationship among the claim people of the Piedmont Area of South Carolina. A further purpose of the Association was to provide programs of interest so that better service might be rendered by adjusters to their respective companies and their policy holders. The Piedmont Claims Association is a professionally strong association which upholds its purpose.
